Don't believe there was a wartime 353rd FG bird in those markings Stang.  Nothing on Little Friends database and nothing in the huge 353rd FG history I have here at home.

Kinda think the owner did his own 353rd paint scheme as if he was there.  Probably what I'd do to :)

There's a pic of it in the Legends thread.  Wonder if the guy keeps it here?  I don't know of any P51's around.

This P51D might work for Stang since he's a Bengal's fan.

This is a wartime bird flown by Captain Stillwell of the 339th FG.  I have other photos of the wartime bird.  Did the profile quick to show ya the colors.

It is based at the "TriState Warbird Museum" in Cincinnati.  She and about 70 other P-51s were in Columbus this past weekend.

This plane looks awesome! Looks way better then the original custom skins for MA IMO.
