Title: Not getting perk points for kills..

im a little confused, 2 sorties in a row today I got kills, landed, and received no perk points..

the first time I took off in a spit I and immediatly fired a burst into a F4 that was attacking the dar.. he suicided into the dar and I got the kill message..

landed, 0.0 points.

the second time I took off in a spit I again, and headed for the fight on the deck.

a P38 tried to dive on me and overshot and hit the water, I received a kill message, I went on fighting and received 3 more assists (8x 303s doesent  exactly deliver a knockout blow)

landed, 0.0 points..

so as far as perk points go.., do assists not count at all, and neither do maneuver kills?

Exactly so, neither of those count for perk points.

Yup. You only get perk points for enemies you actively shoot down. Ping them before they auger. :aok

SO here's a question.  If we are fighting, i ping you up really bad.  You kill me, attempt to rtb but your plane finishes falling apart due to the damage I inflicted.  Do I get credit for that kill?

You don't get perk points, but you do get some kind of credit: Score points will be awarded according on how much damage you did inflict on him.
