Title: Self Powered USB Hub - KVM w/audio
Post by: Getback on October 02, 2007, 07:49:29 AM
Any recommendations on a self powered USB Hub?

Also, would like to rid myself of some speakers. I have one system that has a 5.1 speaker system and another that has 2.1. What I want to do is somehow use the 5.1 system on both computers and rid myself of the 2.1. Does any KVM switch with audio do that?

I use a BELKIN HUB (http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=159070), works great.

As for the speakers, you NEVER run both computer at the same time? If you do you'll be loosing sound in one of them. Be better off hiding the other speakers.... mount them under the desk or something.

Purchased a new Belkin Hub today. Thanks for the help.
