Hi all,
I'm a 33 year old gamer thats found my next addiction! :)
I'm very new at AH, and looking for a squad of older gamers that wouldn't mind a new player tagging along, learning the game... Looking to meet new people, and hopefully get better with this great game!
Thanks!

what country do you fly for? What time zone you in? How often do you fly? what times do you fly?
-
We are still recruiting. PM me if you are interested.
Our squad finds all sorts of oppurtunities to play most aspects of the game, and most important to us is that we have fun. Check us out, if you like.:)

I'm not attached to any of the countries yet, dont really know any differences between them. I'm in CST time zone, I found the game yesterday, and have been playing since. Probably most weeknights for 4-5 hours after work, and most days weekends unless something else is going on.

We do regularly scheduled escorted bombing missions on Sunday and Tuesday nights. The more the merrier.

What arena Blk? and being from upstate NY, where is the real upstate?

Is SJohnson your ingame name/ID?

353rd Fighter Group is looking for some people that are willing to learn formation and wingman flying/tactics
We fly for Knights, meet Tuesdays, Wednesday's SNAPSHOT, and Thursdays as well as the historical scenarios for the FSO.
Flight times are usually from 8pm to 11pm Eastern except the FSO which starts around 11pm Eastern Friday.
Contact TheBug, EaglePoo, Shifty, or myself via the PM command. .p message Remember to put the dot before the 'p'.
Regardless of where you go, and welcome to your next addiction. :aok

353rd is a good bunch and a good choice overall. I've seen your posts in the training forum...spend some time in the TA...it'll shorten the learning curve ALOT. You can also find some good fights in the dueling arena...just let them know your "new blood" and most guys will work with you a bit.
If your up and the 353rd isnt you can check vox 171...this is squad vox for the 71st. We're pretty much full up in both squads (I think) but we always have guys just stopping in to fly with us...
My BBS handle is humble (original "callsign") but I fly as snaphook. Just hollar if you see me up, happy to wing with you for 1 or 2 hops or let you fly along as an observer....{I've been tending to fly around looking for fights in an A-20 so that might or might not help you out}...the good news is you've got a gun to shoot with:)

Which ever arena can hold all of us at once Bk. We are not married to a chess piece simply because we need to be on the lower numbered side so were not Eny'd out of our rides. Shoot me a PM if you want our TS info.
Oh, and the REAL upstate NY is about 3 hours north of Albany or Rochester. :D
Good to see the Avengers here BTW. :)

Hello Sjohnson,
Being so new you'll have to find out what interests you most about the game. For me i found flying with a squad that likes to work as a team taking and defending bases is what I preferred over just flying around killing others with out a goal in mind. We do furball and wing on occasion which normally is a blast since we already know how to work together but mot our prime objective.
All of our members are between 27 and 50. If interested, you don't need to be good but you do need to want to work as a team toward a common goal.
I would without a doubt NOT commit to any squad without flying with a few different ones at first to see how you match up. Take what you can from each in the way of help as you go along and then decide. There are few squads here in AH that are not interested in helping newer people get acquainted with the game, especially considering your age.
