Title: Gaming outside of AH
Post by: Estes on October 03, 2007, 08:54:10 PM
I recently had some pretty major surgery, so I've had to put aside my joystick as I would get yelled at by the wife and doctor if they knew I was using it (plus it might move the leads they put in)

I have Age Of Empires 3, but I've been too lazy to go get the war chiefs expansion for it. So if anyone still plays that I'd be up for some rounds.
I also play (gasp) world of war craft (I'm relatively new to this game so I have a low level character. For those who use xfire, you can find me by adding ahkjetil to your friends list.

For those that don't you can reply to this thread or PM me and we can set something up.

Regards,
Kjetil

Don't overlook good ol' Solitaire, Spider Solitaire, and Free Cell.  You might also want to order Hoyle Word Games and Chessmaster 9000.

You can download updated versions of Steel panthers here  (http://linetap.com/www/drg/SPCamo.htm)

They are free and fairly good games if you like turn based tactical sims.

Really, I remember these games from back in the dark ages.  Of course the last thing they would run on was windows 98 so I havn't played them in a long time.

Yeah check them out, they are free but they have a CDrom version with bigger windows screen sizes thats 30 bucks.

I have played these games over the years more then any other game.   They have a modern version going from 1950 to 2025 and a WW2 version that goes from the 30s to 46.

Gameplay is much like you will remeber with many added features.   Good stuff.
