RIP "ALL YOUR TOYS BELONG TO US~"

Old American toy manufacturers are nothing more than toy brokers now. The DO NOT care about you or your families safety. Any company still purchasing from china is a threat to the US.

We had some products on this latest list... bummer.

LOL! OMG!:rofl

You say that as if in the 'good ol' days', American companies cared about safety.
Ford Pinto anyone?

My point was more about a false perception of the deterioration of corporate attitudes towards safety. Do keep up old boy.
I would say companies these days are hyper-sensitive about safety. Whatever the product.

Personally I was tired of all the whining about toys with chocking hazards as soon as it all started.
Anyone remember when Cracker Jacks used to have an actual toy surprise in the box?
Cerial too.
Damn shame that parents cant accept responsibility for their kids anymore.
If you have a small toy in the house and your kid chokes on it. its not the companies fault. But your own.
Lead paint is another story entirely as parents have no control over what type of finish is used on the toy

Its a Chinese/North Korean conspiracy to decimate our economy by reducing comsumer confidence in one of (if not THE) busiest shopping times of the year .... Black Friday. Thats right, they are assaulting our Christmas holiday shopping with dangerous and deadly toys in an attempt to destroy our economy!! Whats worse is, if they happen to fail at destroying our economy because our little angels just MUST HAVE the Thomas the Train Playset, they will ultimately win when these little darlings, with insufficent parental supervision, suck off the lead paint causing decreased mental ability, or better yet (for the Chinese/N. Koreans) our little darlings might choke to death on the small parts.

If they sold pillows as toys there would be a "Danger of asphyciation" (sp) warning on it.

People are a little too worried about safety... We used to play with fireworks and firearms..
The toy guns we had almost always shot projectiles or we didn't want em. The toy cars and trucks were made of heavy lead or pot metal and could pinch or be used as a club if you wanted.
We were told to play nice. sometimes we did... other times... someone got hurt... it was part of growing up. look at the wussies we are raising now.
