After 5 years, this is my first threat hehe.
I just would like to comment that the early war arena presents very cool and challenging fights and rides, like p40s! It would be nice to see more people in it!

Cut the guy a little slack . . . after all, he said it is his first one.

Wow im impressed, you guys feel like you are so cool with your posts, this is why I never post, your attitude, you feel like you own this BB man this is a game, I was just inviting more players to try the early war, go ahead and make my day, youll never hear from me here again so I am not going to waste your time, but you can look for me for a duel if you feel you are so tough. I hope you fly as good as you talk...

lol macky.. ease off the throttle abit there turbo and don't take it so heavy.. all i see here are some really lite handed jokes and should make you grin at least a bit..

UPDATE: I Tried EW, CANT be any score-potato building battlers in THERE--I log in...I'm the only Rook, see a base flashing, up from adjacent base in P40, get there, and its a guy in JU88's egging a base of a country which had NO members when he took off---a new Rook logged in during this, killed the deck 88's as I hung overhead. The ju88 guy was #9 in the arena, and proceeded to give me and the other Rook a bunch of crap about 'ganging him....he threatens to 'get' us......:huh He ups a H2C, flies other way to grab, I hang on waiting on far side of base/town, H2C/#9 guy poofs out of vis, tho he still runnin yap. Spit guy ups, gets out into sector, we start having REALLY good fight...I'm winning..spit is losing parts (other Rook is dealing with the NOW-15k H2C..brave, isnt he...) ..long story short, H2C picks me as spit fight still ongoing, then he starts bragging....Ok...WHY am I going to either of these arenas?

I hate to admit it but EW has helped me fight better in the LW arenas. The slow rides, and weak engines, have made managing my E state easier in the LW arenas. The planes are slow enough that I can see if I'm in a bad position, and correct it, or find an avenue to extend and re-engage with better position.
It's like fighting a Kung-Fu battle but everyone is using Tai-Chi. You have time to think about what you are doing, what your opponent is doing, and what your next move will be. That has helped me get an "instinct" for air combat. I'm not great, but I am better than I was 3 months ago.
I just wish the score dweebs, who roll over undefended bases, because the arena is so lightly populated, and they don't have to worry about getting shot down cause that would hurt their K/D ratio, would get stuffed. Seriously they are probably like: "Yea we did it." Sure you did, their are like 9 of you, against 2 from one side, and 1 from the other.

Summary: MW is STILL full of young people avoiding anything that resembles a fight, and are still porking/taking empty fields.
