yup.
can't argue with what they accomplished. most people don't know they wrote more #1 hits than anyone else, most not performed by them.

only because I don't like the slow soft songs. I like the upbeat, fast-tempo songs.

Ry Cooder Rocks!
!

I agree with you but all you saw or heard was ry cooder? that song is like eighty years old now the composer was singing and playing the seven string guitar on it. he died in 2003 at the age of 95.

No I like the Latin Swing. "Wife is Latin" I like the fact that Ry Cooder recorded Buena Vista Social Club in Havana and brought the music to the fore front for all of us listeners can enjoy it. Being a guitar player also I appreciate Ry Cooder for being the virtuoso he is. !

I heard they had a midget on stage remove and stomp their scrotal region in order to achieve that unique sound.
That said, I dig the bee gees.

I love the song. I thought for a long time it was girls singing it, never had paid attention to who it was. Too much falceto but then that was their style and they wrote some great songs, most of which I like.

This is different music than what I grew up with but the visuals of the music video and the music itself lends a air about it that feels very familiar. Spanish music was very popular in Brasil during my formative years there so I did get to hear a lot of it.
This rates a B+ also.

B at least for the Bee Gees. Very good stuff and unique in many ways. They influenced a whole generation of music. Can't dismiss their work.
