The first time I start recording, my PC takes anywhere from 15 to 30 seconds of hard drive scrambling effort to get back to normal play.
It will afterwards stop and record new movies with negligible start/stop lags, unless about an hour has gone by since the last recording, in which case it is as the first time.
Anyone else get this?

how many films ya got int he folder? If your getting over 100 its time to clean house, move them to another folder. It may be the game looking to see what the next number is, hunting through all those films.
Could be a resource issue too. Is your ram clear? do you have enough?

I have the same problem. How do I route films to new folders?

I've noticed this problem also. I have about 450, so I guess I'll clean up. But I haven't figured how to delete more than one at a time 8(.

I open windows explorer under the accessories, make a new folder in the aces high folder....mines "films2".... then you can select everything in the films folder and move it over.
Aces High doesn't look for any other folders so it will solve your delay problem, but you can still load the films into the film viewer.

Rename the current films folder to another name. The game will create a new films folder.

That worked, thanks!
