Just wanted something quick tonight and didnt feel like going out.
but I wanted BEEF.
So I took a roast out and instead of roasting it. I did what I sometimes do.
Plopped a blob of butter into my cast iron skillet and set it melting.
Sliced up some onion and tossed that in
then I took the roast and I shaved off a whole bunch of thin slices off it
nd set it aside for a moment while I smashed a cove of garlic and chopped it up very fine.
And tossed this in the skillet
Onions at this point are starting to turn brown.
Toss in the meat. Sprinkled it with some "Mrs Dash Steak Rub" and fried till the red in the meat was almost gone..
Slap it all on a hard roll And you have pure heaven in less then 20 min

That sounds tasty!
You sure at your age you should be eating stuff with butter in it though?:D

Pick up a small roast instead.
You will find that pound for pound its cheaper and you dont have to beat it to death to make it tender LOL

Oh, I don't do any "real" cooking Drediock. I'm buying the pre-sliced stuff that I just flop into the pan. :D

I didn't understand half of the recipe, or I'd probably try it myself instead of my usual pelmeni and disposable steaks ;)

Is there any age when in the morning you are not supposed to eat a crispy toast with some fresh butter? Or eggs roasted on butter sunny-side-up?

This particular pic is from Rick's Steaks in the Reading Terminal Market, 12th & Arch.\, not from Geno's.
Geno's is great, but a tad pricey for a smallish steak.

There is nothing better when it comes to culinary delights than a "philly cheesesteak sandwich" made with a good ribeye steak. Don't even bother arguing. I can't hear you. Lalalalalalalalalalalala
