I've been away for a while, and i just returned today, i was fighting against a very good P-51....
I knew i couldnt beat him, so i went to my backup tactic of making him crash, well I did just that and i didnt get the kill...did they remove proxy kills?
If so that sucks, cause making enemies crash is my #1 defense mechanism and the way i get the most kills

No, sometimes you do not get the proxy unless you ping them...
Strange it did not give you a proxy...
To answer your question, no, they did not remove proxy's.

well i didnt hit him at all (even though we fought for like 20 minutes) then he crashed as i was completing a loop, and yeah i didnt get kill
-
Mayhaps he had been pinged by someone else already?

Its a good tactic, especially if you've run out of ammo

That's exactly what happened.

Seems to me you still get proxy kills, sometimes, just not under the same circumstances as you used to.
Hate that.:cry

Nothing has changed. If nobody pinged your enemy, you get proxy.

Seems to me I've had planes go down near me, over my own field, and not gotten the proxy, even when I might have pinged them. Probably more of an internet glitch, though.

They could have been pinged earlier, even long before they appeared over your field. And there is still manned ack (which you cant see) which may either have hit them or just happened to be closer to the point of impact.

No. I'm not going to give you a hug, Lusche.:D
