Title: Baseball Cards
Post by: Raptor on October 13, 2007, 08:58:29 PM
Anyone know how much the complete 1979 TCMA History Series would sell for? All cards in Mint of Near-Mint condition. Even have a Joe Dimaggio Card with a mint rating of 9 by PSA.

Minimum of $300 depending on your source.

My wife wants me to "get rid of my cards".    Easily $10,000 sitting in the basement.   I'm holding out for a while.

What do you mean "my source"
I inherited over 1000 cards about 10 years ago and I'm just now going through them . Looking to sell of course.

Beckett
Tuff Stuff

any other publication.    Each one bases it's price on different circumstances.

I wasn't being "smartass" with my answer.    I was a die hard collector until the market became saturated in 1990 and I lost the "drive".

I wasn't accusing you of being a smart ass, I really didn't know what you meant by my source;)

All I see is TCMA ltd.

I'm not talking about the Card Manufacturer.

"source" = Price Guide Publication

gotcha.... so what course would you recommend taking if I were looking to sell these? I've seen the Joe DiMaggio Card (#1) priced at $30 and Roy Campanella (#8) priced at $20 from this collection so I don't know what to expect.
