Here's the film from my c*ckpit. WARNING: profanity on the squad vox channel. I swear like a trooper to my sqaudies on closed vox at times... Excuse me in advance.

Humble/Snaphook, that sure was a fun fight. Had to keep an 3rd eye on to the horizon to avoid getting picked. Combination of my wingman (Akromstr) and good SA saved my virtual butt. Cant believe how much damage that A20 soaked up and how well you manuevered it. It kept catching me out, as i never expected it to manuever so well. Well done - i got a new respect for A20s now.
Excellent fight, and an honorable draw! Till next time, sir!

Can't wait to view it, will be 1st time I've seen A-20 from the "other side". I am constantly amazed how much damage the A-20 can take and keep on trucking. I've also found that you can fight it "reasonably" well missing an aerlion, an elevator and to a degree the rudder (rudder loss the toughest).
I've limped home with more "hole" then plane an awful lot. I actually named one clip kelvar:D ....
Alot of times the A-20 has to absorb some lead and try and to counter punch. I had a bunch of small windows but you kept your speed up and your angle off changing enough to dance thru them. Not panicing or getting off your game plane and pushing to hard is a big sign a guys not in his 1st rodeo. Normally after the 2nd pass or so I'll get the con to tighten up and give me a better look.
Was great example of flying what you brought to the dance....
Luckily for me you ran out of bullets in time, I'm sure another pass or two and the A-20 would have just gone all at once. It's not a one hit wonder but for some reason its hard to hit till you see it a bit. Your gunnery got better as you adjusted to my limited bag of tricks and got your closure rates and angles adjusted......

wow....
Thanks for posting that, 1st time I've seen myself (in A-20) from the other view. Didnt realize I was getting quite that aggresive:). The A-20 views suprisingly like the P-38 to me, no idea it could get around so quickly or float up on the double so well off moderate to low E.
I chased on the shots a bit more then I probably should but I think thats a habit of trying forcing guys to turn once I get em engaged since I may not be able to get control of the fight back. Great throttle and flap work....
I think this should be tagged to the "throttle" thread...here your are on the "defensive offense" {if that makes sense} and bumping off the gas to ajdust my angle off. then getting back out of plane and on the gas to disrupt any shot window I have. If you match em up to my clip you'll see I'm missing those shots due to counters....very nice.
Looking at it from your end I'm suprised how tough the A-20 is to lock in on. Not alot of real tracking shots. Last one could have done it but you had to fish the nose a bit (nice blind (from my view of clip)) adjustment....
Fun fun fun fight:aok

Man, just watched your version, and i'm stunned at the slow speed stability of the A20 - guess the twin engines are a real blessing there. Good throttle control and out-of-plane maneuvering to get you're nose around and out into a lead position. I decided in that fight, i didnt want to get into a slow speed contest with that A20, which seemed counter-intuitive to me at the time, but those were my instincts, so i pushed as much as i could for a shot then bug out and reposition for another attempt. Getting into slow contests with you seemed to go your way - perhaps in part due to the twin-engine slow-speed handling and in no small part to your experience. Besides that's my usual mode of attack in a P51 - fight enough to get a snap-shot off but not too much to get bogged down. Plus, knowing it was a skilled pilot i was fighting against, i couldnt resist coming back for more until i knew who it was.
Some nice shots there, my wings took some hits and my canopy too. I was a bit too eager to stay in close and brawl ;) I should have switched earlier to an E fight, but i was having too much fun.

Those fights kind of sum up everything "good" about AH. Win, lose or draw they're the fights you remember....
I was very suprised with how smooth the A-20 appears from your view in the verts. Just gliding on rails....it gets around a lot faster then I imagined. I "rotate" the thing as much/whenever possible vs flying the arc but it was just screaming around on you at times.
I think the biggest advantage the A-20 offers is its "unknown" but viewing the clip from your end as long as the A-20 ie equal or + E its a bear if its flown aggessively. If the A-20 could handle higher stress wingloadings I actually think it could be a dominant bird...after watching that clip F7F would dominate the LWA:D

great films all man i wish i could fight like that lol u guys rule :D
