I know this one has been brought up about friendly fire but haven't seen any about this idea.
Instead of kill shooter, say if you shoot down 2-3 (or whichever limit set) friendly aircraft, you get timed out for 15 minutes (more or less)
Know this one has been brought up but no harm asking again.
Collisions: No matter who hits who, both planes crash
Possible more gunner postions in buffs - max of how many the bomber itself has one individual plane

Wish number 1: no sir, I don't want to be shot while RTB with 6 kills, just because a "funny" pilot on same team knows he has 2 or 3 "free" kills of teammates.
Wish number 2: OK, you want to die when an enemy passes your plane 100 or 200ft away? Without any collision happening on your screen? Do you really wan't that? Because that's what you are asking for.

why not lusche? the way it works now, quite often you could be 400 yds away and get a collision message and go down.

Would like to see film of that. Seen many claims, but never any proof. Because YOUR computer is the one that detects a collision, not the server, not your enemy's.

Sure, you can get the collision message that the other player collided with you, in which case he took damage and you did not. He could also have simultaneously been shooting you as he collided, which kills you in the meantime.
In other words, YOU DID NOT TAKE DAMAGE FROM THE COLLISION.
The white collision message "so-and-so collided with you" means he collided on his computer. He took damage from the collision.
You only take damage in a collision if you see the orange message "You have collided." If you do not see the orange message, you did not take damage from a collision.
Please do a search on how collisions work. This has been hashed out ad nauseum on these forums. It is not difficult to understand if you are willing to apply a little brainpower.

True but I have hit enemy aircraft from behind I mean dead six and not received any damage so yea.
As for the killshooter, HiTech has stated he does not want to hear the complaints from the first person to lose a 262 to friendly fire. So I say no to taking off killshooter.

I think wish 3 deserves some consideration
-
Thats funny
Everytime I have a collision from the front, the other aircraft, vehicle, tree, sheep, etc are always touching my aircraft
Therefore, I collided.
Collision model works fine on my end. I think peoples ego doesnt allow them to collide

its the truth, has happened to me and a few squaddies... we have also taken damage several times that the other person was credited with the collision, THAT happens almost daily.
You cannot film it after the fact... there is no TiVo for life.

If it happens almost daily its easy to film.
BTW, most enemies pull trigger before colliding...

RoGenT,
We can't really find a way of making both players collide since the small amount of lag that is evident on most computers isn't controllable...
The whole ping can't be directly controlled and so there will be slight differences in the way the comp recognizes a collision.
In a nutshell, there's very little, if not nothing HTC can do about it.

I agree the collision model is little out there, as well as the friendly fire being on. Just some ideas that I thought I would mention anyway regardless *shrugs*

Well then boyo since "this happens almost daily", start filming.
But I still think your full of it.

# 3 also has been requested time after time after time. (try a search on this topic, 6 pages of material)
Quoting HT on the LAST big gunner thread.
The current implantation has nothing to do with not wanting death stars.
It has much more to do with usability and survivability.
HiTech
Currently if you man your guns you can fire ALL guns.
In WB or AW if you manned a bomber gun, you could only fire THAT gun.
That is the difference right there. AH has no "Otto" nor does it need it.
To go back to the old system would indeed be going Backward.
Since it would not be used often enough to make it practical, HT has declined to do so.
So manning guns yourself or with 1 gunner now is much more practical
and efficient at defending the bombers. Than loading a bunch of guys to go ack star.
This is one of those small issues that defines Aces High, it is what serperates us from everything else. I think that bomber guns as they are now are just fine. It ain't broke, don't fix it and quit asking for it please.
Friendly fire is ONLY a problem if your flying in a horde.
Killshooter keeps everything else very well in check. And if I have to die 3 - 4 times a year because someone flew threw me as I shot. So be it, small price to pay. If its happening more often than that, get out of the horde.

Or at list check with Gosth first. He seems to be the official HT acceptable wish moderator :rofl
I think I read something HT posted a while back that the problem would be overloading either the server or the clients with updates for the tracers/gun positions etc from having several guys manning the guns. Can't remember since it was a couple of years ago.
But no, adding more manable guns to the buffs is not going backwards since they would be adding functionality and not removing. Also, just because something was not possible 2 or 3 years ago, it does not mean that it would be impossible today, so please, do ask. It does not hurt anyone to ask for things. Make sure you check with the officials first though, you know, to make sure you are allowed to post a wish in the wish forum
:rofl

What is this search you speak of and how can I use it's magic? ;)
Fair points but I think it might be fun to have the option to enable different gun positions depending on the number of guys you could get in your buff although I admit this has to be a very low priority on the coding list (although HiTech does have a 'for bribes' link in his signature and I'm not above robbing a liquor store).
Of course I also think a weekend on the beach with Rebecca Romijn would be fun as well.
Neither are going to happen but I can DREAM can't I?
:D

Thats not true at all, you only get a collision that shows on your computer...if you dont "hit" you dont take damage...
