This is an idea I had a while back. Its a new feild type, frontline airstrips. They'd have a small, dirt runway, one of each type of hangar, and no ack. The maproom would be on-base, like a vehicle base. The planeset for airstrips would be limited to planes that historically operated from rough feilds, like 109's and Stukas. They would be more populated throughout the map, located within Dar-Circle range of V-Bases (for air support- considering you wouldnt be able to use super-ueber latewar tankbusters, rather aircraft like the JU87, I think this would be fair), and could be used for landings if your oil or radiators damaged, gas is done, etc.
Thoughts?

While I don't think we should make entirely sepperate fields, I AM interested in having different airfield designs...
however, all the uber planes remain.

love the idea would be very good and could possibly incorparated with CT??? to make it even more realistic

If M3 cargo vehicle supplies were enabled for air craft such that they could re arm/refuel when stationary close to such supplies..................... ........
We could make such air strips anywhere we like close to vehicle spawn point that has some flat tree free terrain............
Ok we would not be able to spawn aircraft there but we would have a forward base from which we could re arm/ refuel /repair? and if we did establish it by a vehicle spawn point then it would be defendable..........

well maybe we could get a gv that could make the runway like a bull dozer then have an m3 that drops workers to make the hangars.

I do like Tilt's idea
If GV sups were applicable to AC one M3 could rearm up to 8 aircraft in the feild, it would certainly change the game.
Squad operations and mission planning in the MA would benefit immensely, you'd still need to RTB to actually "Land" kills, but for the extra excitement of landing in a potentially hazardous location to rearm and get right back into the action in record time would be a boon.
For the vulchers there's the increased avaliability of strafing kills, base defenders won't have to circle waiting for the next wave for so long, everybody wins!
