Title: Quadrants...?
Post by: DedStk on October 18, 2007, 10:49:10 PM
Has anyone tried using the Saitek (or any make, really) quadrant rig, and then mapping throttle/mixture/RPM to it?  Will AH recognize a quadrant and allow mapping?  If you've done it, how'd you like it?  I'm considering an X52 Pro with quadrant...  Any thoughts appreciated!  Thanks, gang!

I got the, and i really like it.
You will have to use the Beta drivers in order for it to work, that includes for your X52 too.
Not sure if you seen the differences, but there is no 3D view of your stick in the SST, and you can't specify the profile you want for the Quadrant via your X52.
(Though I haven't checked for up dates since it first came out)

SO make sure you do it b4 you get in game.

I also have the CH Quadrant to compare it to.
I do like the Siatek better. But probibly bias since I have the X52 and peddals with it.

I just got the saitek quadrant a week ago, (i'm a lefty) and had no trouble programming it. For now, all I have are two levers programmed, throttle and RPM.  No problems!

Edit:  it's easy to map, if you haven't figred this out let me know.  I'll walk ya through it and it will only take a couple of minutes.  :)
