how do u make animated avatars? nvr been able to figure it out

paintshop pro has a program called animation shop that's really easy to manipulate.  Thats what I use.  

Or you pm me and tell me what you want and I do it for you.  I've done a couple for other members and squads.  It's a nice little time waster for me.

Or if you really want to learn it on your own pm me and I'll shoot you a copy of it and walk you through it.

I made one via flash in my graphics academy class. Although I believe I had to change the file and stuff so maybe it started out as flash at first. Oh well.:rolleyes:

no they don't but in flash you can export to GIF and make a higher quality animation.

I'd love to know how to make it "Higher Quality". Because when I exported mine it had "grid lines" on it.

the problem in making them is that you're allowed 80 x 80 pixels and a maximum size of 30k.  Subsequently if you want a complex one you wind up sacrificing picture quality for quantity.  The one I'm flying right now took about 10 minutes and it's really not as good as I wanted it to be but the game was on and I wasn't paying attention.  

Redman if you want me to make yours for you PM me and I'll shoot you my email address.

Here's an example.  

I've taken 4 original photos of a 47, edited them to be 80 pixels high, and put a quick transition effect in between each (3 frames each to be exact) and it's 58 k

In order to get it to fit without the text I'm either going to have to A) reduce the color quality or B) lose one of the pics.

More in a moment.

Okay here it is with the color quality reduced to 31 colors.  Notice how grainy things look?

it's still 33 k so I'm definately forced to remove a picture and the transition to get it to fit.

Anyway shoot me a pm and we'll collaborate.  It would help if you go find pics you like or took some in game screenshots.

Denholm do you have the original pics?

I left all transition effects out of mine and it's WAY under 30K even without color reduction.

The transitions are size hogs.

dangit, it says "The file that you have tried to attach is too big. The maximum size is 30000 bytes."

is there anyway u can mabee make 1 slide say BigBOB, then the next say CH then the pic of the 47? if u got the time
or try make it as small as possable but still have the BigBOBCH in it and the pic of the 47
