Read the last paragraph in the article.

I'm angry at my government for failing to regulate chemicals that are in mass production and in consumer products." Hammond says. "I don't think it should have to be up to me to worry about what's in my couch.

By this logic, maybe we should have a government inspector in each home to check for monsters  under our bedds too?

they will regulate each and every waking moment of our existence if we allow them to.  the funny thing is that many people are calling for that very level of governmental intrusion in all of our lives.  where's my $%#@&*@ 262 pal?

:D

I so agree Storch... it is scary.

As for the 262, it has been collecting dust on my shipping shelf.... I'll try to remember to do it today.

Blah blah blah... I remember a time where our walls were covered in lead paint, we rode bicycles with no helmets, our play grounds at school had metal slides that were 20' tall and 190 degrees in the summer, we played with sticks and rocks (usually beating each other with them), there were no seat belts in the car, we didn't use car seats for kids we put them in the floor board or on the back dash, asbestos was great for brake pads and fire proofing, you drained your motor oil and used it to help burn off the trash pile in the backyard, everything was fried food,   etc etc etc...

We turned out a whole lot better than the, wear your helmet when you ride a bike, play soccer it's not as dangerous as football, and everyone wins - there are no losers generation will.
