Nope, I don't drive that one. That's a friend's car, I build the engines, transmissions, and rear ends. I'm also the crew chief. I'm looking at
building a car for myself, we have a two car enclosed trailer now.

Two seats in the cars? :D

Dude clearly flared too low. Shouldn't have to pull the nose up that high to land.
FAA is teh p*ssed.

He's not landing, he's taking off.

Don't much care for front engine slingshot dragsters. I used to drive a rear engine car, it ran high 7's at around 188. Boring. Dragsters just aren't as much fun as door cars until you get the dragster into the 5 second zone.

drag racing is stupid, what kind of "race" only lasts 5 seconds?

What is the deal with the 69 Camaro? Why is every other classic car on the road (or at the strip) a 69? In my opinion the 67 - 68 version was much cleaner and classy.

In Stock, and Super Stock, the 69 has the widest variety of options for engines and transmissions. Anything from a 250 6 cylinder to a 427. You can't run the 427 in a 67, 68, or 70. You can't run a 396/375 in a 67 or 68 unless it is a 4 speed. The 69 Camaro probably fits more classes within Stock and Super Stock than just about any other car.
I'm not a huge fan, but the guy who owns the car is. I'm probably going to build a 69 Chevelle, I like them better.

The kind that most circle track racers will tell you scares the crap out of them. And you rarely get the chance to recover from an error. Screw up and you're done for the day.

A fast one.
