Title: A new SnS this Sunday night.
Post by: Imoutfishing on October 24, 2007, 12:17:32 AM
I have one for ya.

What would have happened if The German navy had completed the Graf Zeppelin? I'm not talking about the balloon!

If you don't know what that is then mayby you will want to see this event I have planned of this Sunday at 9pm est. http://ahevents.org/index.php?optio...&Itemid=193

If you do what the Graf Zeppelin was and want to try something you never tried in AH so far then please follow the same link

This could have happened people? I think it's worth a look if not for the challenge alone.

Try this one.  http://ahevents.org/european-theatre/martlets-messerschmitts.html

Sorry I just posted the sucker tonight.  No need to be rude.  It's all in an effort to shape the game to be as fun as we can get it.  Anyway did this link work?

Imoutfishing, I'm really sorry for the misunderstanding.  I did not mean for my message to come off soundng rude.  I was in somewhat of a hurry, and just wanted to let you know what was going on.:aok

Anyways, yes the new link works, and thank you, it looks interesting.

donkey

Once again, sorry for the misunderstanding.:aok

The first time i read it I thought the same thing. So many people respond to stuff in a rude manner, I guess we are starting to expect it. :)

interesting, never knew the Fleet Air Arm had Wildcats.

bit confused about the location though - is there a reason for moving Scapa Flow 600miles south from the Orkneys to Humberside? its completely different terrain and even a different country!

Got a couple days if you find a terrain that includes Orkney, you might get it changed. ;)

But even if you don't, come and participate, after all it's mostly water either way. I could use a fighter flight lead over on LW side if you're interested.

I really want to try an event but need to sort out/buy a new sound card as mic just doesn't work atm :( hope it goes well :)

I downloaded the AH Editor and had a look around - when I get hold of some relief maps I'll have a go at making a Scapa Flow terrain, a bit more than a night's work by the look of it tho

Welcome to AH Lumbergh. My intent was to point out that we run these things on the terrains we have instead of building a special one for every frame.

Don't feel you have to build a terrain for it but you might enjoy working on one if you don't mind the steep learning curve. If you've ever been inclined to build model railroading layouts, you will probably find this much more rewarding and less expensive. Sure beats $4,000.00US for steam locomotive. :lol
