Now before you go blasting me.  Or shooting me, or whatever it is we do to people who request it.

I'm not requesting it.  

BUT


Why not have one of the B-29 threads stickied?   I mean, then people wouldn't have to search (Like people who post said threads do...)

That way, they could just post in that thread.  I think it would lower the amount of B-29!!!1111 threads.

But I could be terribly wrong. :D

From what I've seen with the millions of "H2H" threads that were posted of the EXACT SAME THREAD that is at the top of the list back when H2H was closed, there will some some people who will see a sticky B-29 thread and instead of posting in it they'll just open a new thread about it. ( I hated those H2H threads)

I have a feeling this threads gonna get off into nooks somehow.

In other news, I wonder if you could code something like that.

Have any threads about the B-29 auto post in the B-29 stickied thread...

Like some kind of... B-29... Black Hole...  Or some such madness.

I agree, we need a 29 sticky.

The problem is B-29 is too short to Search for.  So you can't use the TRY THE SEARCH BUTTON MORON line on them with any justification.

I have to say as much as I would personally like to see the super fortress that it would fubar the game.

Why?

Noobs will want the nuke. They wont care that its only been used twice in history or that it would go over the bomb size limit the dev's have said they wont go over. They will whine like little girls if you dont give it to them.

Radar controlled guns.
The b-29 had partially radar controlled turrets. This would mean that you can just keep flying and NOT worry because the guns are automated and shooting.
This would lead to either the guns needing to be made useless or it would go the other way and you'd only see b-29's flying formations.

ITs not needed. Maybe after the p-39, HE-111, Yak 3, LAG and other more vital aircraft are added it would be ok... but NOT before.

Might want to check your facts on that one.  Remotely controlled turrets equipped with a rudimentary fire-control system that the gunner had to calibrate on-the-fly is definitely NOT the same as automated radar-controlled turrets.  :rofl

The one Ive seen on display had radar controlled guns. Maybe it was an upgrade after ww2 ended but I dont know. Thanks for giving me a heads up on that though.

I still think they should sticky a B-29 thread so we don't get a new one everytime it gets off the front page
