Title: Creating tiles
Post by: ch07p on October 24, 2007, 04:37:44 PM
i have started a new terrain and have realized that it would look much better if i could make a new terrain texture. I have read the tile making basics and i have no problem with doing it, but i need to know what the feature paste all to background is called in either gimp or coreldraw? Thanks.

You would not use CorelDraw (a vector graphics program) for making/editing bitmap textures, but CorelPaint.
I am slightly worried that if you dont know the graphics programs, how are you picturing this task of making new tile textures? To make better looking textures than the existing ones requires at least some knowledge/experience of those programs.

ANY Coreldraw questions.. Throw them my way I am an expert in ALL Corel programs Including x3 and x3 for embroidery:) It was posted probably 5-6 years back (maybe more) how to make seamless tiles in Corel. Most of my tile making is done in Corel Paint... It would be "COMBINE" then your options would be All objects to background.
