Title: What we truly need....
Post by: Latrobe on October 25, 2007, 02:42:09 AM
I've been thinking it over for a while now and I have come to a conclusion. What we need the most in Aces High 2 is "Combat Tour" :) . In doing so we will be able to get the planes we've been asking for added in, newer maps, and loads more of wishes.

ha ha you are dreaming again.

Combat tour is going to be from what i can guess mostly hi alt engagments,so you wont see much detail of the ground except when you are going down in flames.

Hmmm,  I wonder where Aces High came up with that concept?:huh

Actually, I am quite impressed with the overall gaming concept of CT.  The level of difficulty and sportsmanship of players seem to be the only possible drawbacks.

Dee, I value your thoughts on this.  Do you think enemy AI and level of difficulty in completing missions will take away from or add to a rewarding gaming experience.

I wonder if they'll be runners in CT? Escorting a wave of B-17's into enemy territory, enemies attack, they see an enemy 109 dive on them, instead of staying with bombers and other fighters they dive and run.

The idea is i hope going to work good,The AI will have varing ability like the human players ,as long as the majority of players are human then it should be good.

As long as the AI is not over the top and un killable then the game should be a nice change from the main arena furballs.

The jump points will speed up the action.

Yes there will be runners but the game is going to be progresive and if you run  or leave your flight mates ect then you wont progress far

If the AI is similar to standard day Auto Pilot, the drones won't recover from a stall.:t

No plane has a powerful enough engine to lift Chuck Norris.

The AI will probably be better than 90% of people even if the AI is set to the ultimate green noob level of skill.
