Trying to learn the new X52 set up. So far I really like it, apart from an issue using the SST profiler (it seems to hit the "[" key repeatedly after I save a profile - only fix is to uninstall SST, and I have checked my sticky key in the keyboard set up per LT. Clark's fantastic write up). I'm using the AH controller mapping and it works fine in mode 1, apart from the mouse wheel on the throttle. BUT, when I tried to set up mode 2 for vehicles, I can't get the game to recognize a zoom toggle on either the stick, throttle, or even the keyboard. Any ideas?

CLICK HERE (http://www.pogbird.com/X45/saitekx52flightcontrolsystem.jsm) for a copy of my X52.jsm file I use in AH. It uses all 3 modes. Maybe you can compare it with yours found in the C:\Program Files\HTC\Aces High II\settings directory

Thanks eagler. I finally figured out the problem with the SST software - my slider seems to be the hangup. As long as I don't program that, I'm fine. I also figured that, when mapping on SST, I needed to "uncheck" the load mode default in AH. That lets me use the SST modes, which are now working fine, and the keyboard works as well. I haven't yet figured the pinkie switch out, or the rotaries, but I'm getting more and more buttons to work the game the way I want. I know the rotaries are really for trim, or the rpms, or or or, lol. I may try to map the rpms on them since I generally use combat trim. Experimenting is half the fun.

you can program the rotors in AH for trim (highly recommend that or you'll get killed by someone who manual trims in t&b fights).
any programming you do in AH will over-ride the sst programming which is very nice when used correctly

Thanks. I really, really want to learn the 38, and I understand trim (and arguably differential throttle) needs to be used to make that bird work the way it can.
