Does anyone ever go in the o'club room? I was thinking it might be a good place to meet up before a scenario starts, instead of the tower. I think it would be kind of cool if the radio on the table there would play mp3 files. It could play random selections from a new Aces High\O'club_Sounds directory. Content of the directory could be up to the players entirely - I'm sure some talented player could put together news & music broadcasts for the appropriate languages and time frame. I'm hoping that keeping the actual content entirely on the players' computers would keep HTC clear of any DRM/copyright infringement issues.
Anyway, just a thought that might add to the immersion in the game, especially scenarios and any event where players now spend a lot of time just waiting around for the event to start.

I'm always listening to something on WMP.

One word:
Winamp (http://www.winamp.com)

:lol Be pretty funny to get news reports on the war
"And in other news, the knights are getting pounded at A15 by a large mass of Bishop. The assualt started with 110's NOE and now the town is down along with the precious VH. Knight are attempting to hold the base but the outcome looks grim. We shall stay with this fight and continue with updates. Now here "Aces High" by Iron Maiden
:aok

Another thing that could be put in the O'club is a Squadron status board - along the lines of what Guppy did for the 474th FG during the scenario. Would be cool to see your own and squadmates kills, assists, # sorties, etc - done up like a chalkboard, with the proper chalkboard printing font. Could display the squad's noseart and name at the top. Would beat going out to the the scorepages to check on scores, I think.

Cool idea's guys!

And it would be soon another Piratebay (http://thepiratebay.org/)
So I dont think we are going to see it happen.
-
Not sure how it would get to be a piratebay, since the mp3s would be kept locally on the user's machine - only function AH would offer is to play them when the user is in the O'club room.

"Live365" has a bunch of WWII stations to listen to. I've been listening to THIS ONE (http://www.live365.com/stations/world_war_ii) They even have clips of speeches and things from the war

Somehow I think listening to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs while sitting in the OClub would lose a little of the immersion for me.
I guess I could always change up to the Andrews Sisters.
