{2007 WORLD SERIES CHAMPION REDSOX} NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE HEART OF A CHAMPION!!...
What a spectacular season we had as REDSOX NATION. From spring training I had a feeling this team could do it and we did. We led the division in early april and never looked back. Had the best record in all of baseball by the end of the season and won the American League East over the hated new york yankees. After sweeping the Los Angeles Angels in the divisional series we played Cleveland for a shot at the American league Pennant(AL championship). Where we got a scare going down 3 games to 1 but we Kept THE FAITH, stood by our team and we ultimately prevailed.
LOYALTY to our teams is what makes REDSOX FANS and BOSTON FANS the best in the world. The World Series SWEEP was a show of total {DOMINANCE} which has silenced all the critics and haters. The entire team had a part in this Championship, from our lights out pitching staff to the clutch hitters to our superior defense. You can not ask for anymore from your home town team than what the REDSOX did for this city the entire season.
Thank You REDSOX!!

REDSOX World Championship Parade is set for tomorrow (Tuesday Oct 30th) at 12:00 noon. Like the 2004 parade it will start at Fenway Park and end at city Hall. More than 1million fans are expected to be in attendance including me :D

While Im not a Redsox Fan.
I LOATH the Yankees.
This year has turned out ot be a great one.
Yankees arch rivals win the WS,
Yankees get trashed in the playoffs. Followed by the proverbial cutting off of their nose just to spite their face.
And now it seems they are falling apart at the seams.
The only way it could get better is if the earth suddenly opened up and swallowed the entire organization into oblivion
:aok

Real men spray champagne WITHOUT goggles. Buncha sissies.

I'm very happy for the Redsox and for their fans for winning the world series, was a Yaz fan from way back. I have to say it was a very boring series to say the least. That's just the way it is. Spring isn't that far away.
Until next year, enjoy Boston!

Kinda funny, I used to help my dad coach little Dustin Pedroia in soccer when he was just a kid.
He used to get that same determined set to his jaw back then too. He was the littlest kid on the fied but he didn't take any crap from anybody hehe.
-
Dam thats awsome soulyss, watching a kid go from what he was to what he has become today it must of been awsome to see. All season hes been a "little giant" for the team and the determination he has is what made him a champion.

Why is it called the "World Series"? Where were the teams from Japan etc.?

Goaly to educate you... Its called the Major Leage Baseball World Series..Not just "World Series"... The best players across the world play in our league in America. Americans invented baseball so we are the base of the sport (international players come to us). There are about 15 diffrent countrys represented in MLB. There is always the World Baseball Classic and the Olympics for nation vs nation world championships. ;)
