If you follow the Pats you are quite aware of how they can get ahead..and then coast. Only to let the opponent catch up. Remember last year's playoff game?

I want to see them trying to score every quarter. Not just 2 1/2. If their opponents can't stop them, so what? Besides, Brady has a chance to beat Manning's record this year.

Either you love em or hate em. I can understand why people hate them. Same reason I hated other teams when they were so good. (Yankees)

My hopes...spank Manning this Sunday. Spank Manning in the playoffs. Brady gets the record.

Post by: Bodhi on October 29, 2007, 10:04:27 PM: It is a professional sport. The fact that Washington could not put up a defense is not New England's problem. Besides, a lot of the players have incentives tied into their respective contracts. They should by all means score as often as they like.

see Filth that's the thing about being a fan, especially a true fan of 1 team. I don't have to like / appreciate / respect or anything of any other team. They are the enemy, that is all. :aok

The defencive players are paid millions fo dollars to stop us and if they cant do it then they need to play better and try harder. This isn't a div1 powerhouse vs a div 2 college team. No such thing as "running up the score" in pro sports because they are paid to win.
