Title: Laptop Help

I just got a loptop..and i was trying to play the game.  I learned that i needed a mouse, cause i couldnt control the plane.
Now i have a mouse and i cant control the planes or even the guns..
can someone help me??

But a joystick is very much superior in every way. Even a cheap $20 one will do.

I'd asume most laptops or 'loptops' have a power setting to save the battery.
Change this to full performance or a non Energy Star setting.

RAABC I've used a laptop for years with AH. You'll optimize the game by:

1. Attaching a standard keyboard/mouse.

2. Attaching a stand alone monitor...a 19" flat panel works for me but the 22" are pretty cheap these days.

3. Buy a joystick. Saitek makes a number of inexpensive twist handle sticks. Spend the extra few $$ for a replacement warranty...Saitek sticks tend to go by the wayside in time.

4. Always run your laptop on AC power to save battery life.

5. Optional but advised - buy a laptop cooling pad. You'll reduce the internal heat load and most of the pads come with powered USB ports.

I would recommend a Saitek ST290Pro stick...they're at wal mart for $20.

yea thats what i have right now, no problems for six months or so hope it lasts til i can afford an x52 or longer so i can get some ch stuff lol
