hmmm............
http://mensnewsdaily.com/2007/11/03/google-censors-mens-issues-inside-us-borders/
Guess they believe free speech is only free if they approve?
I don't use Google BTW, their stance on many things dictates I avoid them and their product. Guess you could say I'm boycotting them in the interest of freedom and liberty.................

Google does more stuff than that---search ANY subject in a political debate---- you will find page after page after page of leftist sites like Huffington Post, Democratic underground, etc.....after 20-30 pages in, you MIGHT find National Review.. You will NEVER see Worldnet Daily..Newsmax, etc.

Isn't that inherent to the referal system they use?

Truly not sure, I just see the end result. I AM aware there are methods to make YOUR site show up with more prominence in any given search

That guy is a idiot and doesn't have a clue as to what he's talking about. It's called the "new bot".
Google works in the same way for all sites. If a site is new or a new article then it has a very good chance of getting a good serp listing right away. This listing tends to last for a very short time then disappear until; one of their other bots fully indexs the page or site.
Google can't craw every site or page published 24/7 so they use the 'new bot' to index recent pages and sites.
search for his term now and his site shows up..
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rlz=1T4GGIH_enUS233US233&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=%E2%80%9CStephen+Limbaugh:+Missouri%27s+Most+Dangerous+Liberal+Judge%E2%80%9D&spell=1
I'm sure the idiot will likely claim and actually believe it's because he put the pressure on google so they caved in. He will probably beat his drum to the tune and his sheep will likely believe his bs.
To give another example of this in action. I build a lot of different websites. I put up a site a few weeks ago for the game Storm of War : Battle of Britain (http://www.stormsofwar.com/) There isn't much on the site, I just put it up to start getting serp listing placement. Because I posted it on a fairly large forum, the site was listed number 1 for both terms "storm of war" and "Battle of Britain game" within 48 hours of the site going live.
It's because the "new bot" gave the site preference because the site was new and linked from a high traffic forum. However now it's been up a week or two and the "new bot" serp bump has gone away. If you do the exact same searches you won't see my site listed at all.
Did google censor me because they don't like my website? No it did what it always does, it tosses up some newer listings to keep the search results fresh then drops them until it fully indexes the site. It later re-includes them somewhere down the line in the listings depending how popular that keyword is.

However, your site isn't the sort that has any left/right bearing of the ilk that a partisan might WANT to censor. Google something like 'torture', and you will see a list of every US-hating site in the annals of history....until the 6th page where a Weekly Standard piece is mentioned. Not sure if this is the best example, but I've noticed a lot of this in the course of refuting the silly lefist posts in this forum;)

Thanks on the site.. not much there yet but I'll be adding more. Will be building a general ww2 flight sim site too. But that will be later.
In regards to the searches.. on stuff like "torture" it's because torture was a hot topic in the media as of late and mostly so with liberals over conservatives.
When people link to a news post about torture it's most likely going to be a liberal news site they link to. It's just more of a liberal topic.
If you take the flip side and do a search for "gun rights news" ironically enough worldnetdaily is listed on the first page. (the last listing on first page)http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4GGIH_enUS233US233&q=gun+rights+news
If you search just "gun rights" again it's mostly all consertive sites and worldnetdaily is on the second page. Sharing it with the NYtimes and the ACLU.
It's just the way it works, if you search the term "abortion" you will see it's pretty evenly mixed with both right and left sites. So really it just comes down to the authority rank given to a specific site on the subject you are searching. The authority tends to come from age of the site and it's popularity.

Well, considering what's been going on and how much has been written of US torture recently, I'm not surprised what searching for that brings up.

both google and microsoft have been helping communist china censor the web

"Widespread" public self-opinion generated paranoid hysteria driven conspiracy theories over "them" can be treated with a week away from the internet, fresh air, long walks, visits with real people who've experienced more and, more importantly, getting laid.
