I heard a few days ago that having anti aliasing turned on makes spotting GVs much harder. Since I have an awful time spotting GVs, I would like to turn it off, but I can't figure out how to.
I did find the settings for it, but there is no option in the catalyst control center to just disable it, I can use 'application settings', 'level' or '2x'.
Is there a way to disable it?

On my system with Nvidia "Use application Settings" turns it off.

i have a hard time seeing them too what is this setting your talking about????? i would love to give it a try

Turn on "Ground View" in AH (Control-F4) and the GVs are much easier to see.
Control-F1 or Control-F2 to turn on the mountains again...

I think he's talking about seeing the dots on the ground from the air.
The settings are in your graphic card settings right click the desk top, select "properties", settings, advanced My ATI has the controls there and I can turn off anti alising I'll have to check this out, I have a hard time spotting GVs from the air.....half blind old fart that I am :D

Yes, I cannot see the dots on the ground when I am in the air.
I used to be able to see them no problem, I have a hard time believing I went blind in two years
