The tips in the download process when logging onto AH is a good thing, but unless you have a really slow machine are you can speed read 3000 words a minutes they do not have the full mpact.   If they can be put into the clipboard message it can be absorbed.

People who fully preload have plenty of time. For some reason, they say you shouldn't though. My computer performs better that way. *shrug*

In my case many of the messages are too large for the box and the end of the first line runs off the edge and i cant read it.

Err...what I mean't was, I think on everyone's screen they are cut off...I didn't mean how many were cut off.

I'm able to read mine and I do preload. None of them are cut off but only half of them make sense since some are inside HTC jokes that I can not understand. I don't care about bumble bees or wedding dresses or whatever it was that I read on a few different messages that were not directly related to AH

The last three or four characters of the first line are truncated when 2 lines are used. It could be just for people not running 4:3 resolution e.g. 1280x1024.

Sudz said the cut-off text issue is fixed for the next release.

The time to read issue?  Not sure if they have any plans for that or not.  However if you really want time to read the tips, the load time is longer for some maps.  Try an arena with something other than an MA small map, and you'll have more time to read.

An excellent time for a tip would be anytime you are shot down--

Did you know you shouldn't try to out turn a Zero

Did you know you have to be up at 5am for work tomorrow

Did you know beer slows your reaction time and impairs your judgment

Did you know being a really good cartoon pilot rarely impresses the ladies
