I've noticed there seems to be no PTO USAAF jug skins in the game, apart from the Ns of course. So I thought I'd do one. This is a P-47D-28 of the 35th FG, 40FS based at Luzon in the Phillipines in 1945.
The skin is available for download at The AH Skin Department (http://www.ah-skins.com/)

I like it too.... ummm I think its very close to the 39ths bird too. Might just be needing a "Cobra in the Clouds" nose art on it :D

Same Fighter Group Fugi. 35th FG had the 39th, 40th and 41st FS.
At one point they had 38s with the 39th FS, P40s with the 40th and P39s with the 41st if memory serves.
All converted to Jugs around the same time.

Thanks guys, glad you like the skin.
To install the skin, create a folder in your aceshigh/skins folder called p47d25_1, change the last number if you already have a folder with that name and number. Extract the files from the zipped package into this folder. You should now be able to see the skin listed in the dropdown box in the AH hangar screen offline.
I've got a fair few photos and profiles of jugs with similar schemes to this from the 35th, 58th and 348th FGs. I picked this one because it wasn't a razorback (all the slots are full), also it was a good clear photo and it had the double ID stripes on the wings and fuselage. The 39th FS had a light blue rather than red nose, but was otherwise similar.
