Hey all, this is really random but I'm dying to find a movie I saw as a kid.  I don't have many facts, but basically there is an arbitrary line crossing a town, in that if someone crosses it they die/pass out.  

There is a certain scene where a few policeman are lined up on the border and one is walking slowly towards the line and he crosses it and passes out.  I believe it may have been in black and white.  

The internet amazes me sometimes, but google hasn't turned up anything due to non-specfic search words.

Ive seen this.....Andromeda Strain mebbe. Was this scene set in the country, and did they tie a rope to a guy and pull him back across afore-mentioned line?

Sounds like a "Twilight Zone" or "Outer Limits" episode.

Definitely not The Andromeda Strain.  I happened to catch that one for the first time this year.

Even the pilot of a plane crosses over and he crashes, and yes it is VOTD!:aok
