Title: Veteran's Day Films
Post by: DoNKeY on November 12, 2007, 05:39:37 PM
So what good movies did you see on tv as a tribute to our Veteran's Day?

I was able to see some of my favorites, both new and old.

Platoon
Hamburger Hill
We Were Soldiers
Saving Private Ryan

and some various History Channel documentaries/ the show "Shootouts."

What was a bridge to far about again?  I think I've seen it before.  Yeah I like Patton also, good movie, and Black Hawk Down, but it's somewhat sad...:cry  Band of Brothers, but I've seen it so many times (own it) that I try to give time to other great movies/series lol.

Bridge to Far about "Operation Market Garden". 3 hours or somethin long. Covers the 82nd airborne, 101st, Arnhem, Nijmegen, British 1st airborne and much more...
