Imgaine the utter destruction we could wage if HT modeled sheep off these dogs.

Post by: splitatom on November 13, 2007, 06:09:40 PM: they were not used very much because they got destracted by friendly tanks and were just as good at destroying t 34 as they were as destroying german tanks as shown by the picture

And that's why the T34 is backing up (notice the dust trail)

come on! I know Mr. puppy dog can catch that T-34 even if it was in full speed in reverse.. :confused:

It took them a while but they eventually learned to not use retrievers.

Post by: B3YT on November 16, 2007, 03:16:36 AM: i read about this in a book called "heroic failures" the dogs only saw the T34's as the "target" as it was the tank they used to put the dog food under. Was only ever used in combat once i think.

Belive it or not dog's were para-dropped by the SBS in WW2 with the handlers over some areas of france and italy.
