Please keep this trash to the O'Club.  It is not wanted here.

Yeager,

If people won't let the Meteor Mk III in, which was actually a series manufactured aircraft in squadron service that saw combat sorties, the P-80 hasn't a prayer.

Too many real gaps to fill to justify that much novelty modeling. ;)

Hey Arlo, are those pictures of the Gieko cavemen in flying helmets on your slideshow? :rofl

All that effort to be witty only to come off incoherent. Not only do I not who or what you are, I'm really not getting whatever "cool trendy" you're referencing. But don't fret - gen gaps don't really intimidate the older set.

SSshh... it took him 6 months to think up that witty comeback,  some people just need more time to think about the words they want to use...

At least this time it didn't take you almost four months to think of a rebuttal, at least that is an improvement.  Now, you just need to work on your material.

Geico. It stood (well still does though it now provides auto insurance to the general public) for "government employees insurance company." [edited ... cause ... well ... I'm gettin' to like this guy a bit more. Not that I was moved that much to hate him before :D ]

On topic: We "need" the P-80 like we need nukes. For those who saw that as an endorsement ... it wasn't.

Actually I think a much stronger case can be made to add nukes to AH.  After all, nukes were actually used in WWII.

I really haven't monitored the forum boards all that much, I just happened to run into the reply by accident. It was meant as a joke no to be taken demeaning in anyway. I believe the pictures Arlo has on slide show are Tommy Blackburn's boys of VF17 and all the photos I have seen of them kinda make me laugh because they kinda resemble cavemen with all the unshaven faces, that's it. Ack Ack anytime you want to try my material out just start up on 200 channel, I can assure you it wont take me months for rebuttal.

Precisely. You earn my respect in noticing. And I gain more understanding from your elaboration. Funny how that works.

That being said ... let's crank the juke and open some beers: http://www.playlist.com/standalone/28424278

One good thing about your opinions is they are just that, your opinions. Just because you have uber skills in the game, well as a p-38 driver doesn't really mean your posts hold anymore validity than mine or anyone elses.  So if it's lame to you, so be it .At least I'm participating in the forums and took the time to explain and apologize to Arlo. He was good enough to respond and for that an <S>

Besides Ack Ack I don't run from dogfights with you. I take it like a man unlike many who who once a 38 is seen they run for home. I would save the lame comments for them
