I few years ago someone posted a link to a place that sold, for very high prices replica aircraft from WW2.
Like huge, replicas, and detailed built very much like the real thing, working controls.
they sold them for 5 to 15k, I think they may have been as large as 1/4 scale.
They did a spit, a 109, a 51, a corsair, a P-38 and a b-25 and B-17.
The website had like 10, to 15 pics of each.
Anyone have a link or any idea?
I searched on google for a long time and go nothing. I KNOW it was posted here at least once. But I can't find it here either.

Search on the word 'replica' and you'll get a few pages.
Here's one of them:

Is this what you're looking for?

Nope, those were mostly flying replicas.
THIS, is what I was talking about. I remembered, they had Fine in their name.
So I found them with a search for Fine Model lol.
Fine Art Models. (http://www.fineartmodels.com/pages/product.asp?content_area=3&sub_area=12&product_area=144)

It really amazes me that there aren't any companies reproducing real warbirds at military spec. It's not like the planes are overly complicated, seems to me a company could make some good money selling top quality flying reproductions.
