Title: Original AH Sounds
Post by: Majors on November 14, 2007, 10:05:40 AM
Anyone know where I could find the original AH sounds?  There are a few in there better than any of the new sounds.

Many thanks

Cheers

Delete or rename the new sound(s).
Title: My Sound folder blank

I want to change some sounds but keep some of the originals. When I looked in my Sound folder it is blank.  Where are the sounds stored?  If I add the wave sounds from one of the downloads to this blank folder, will they work in the game,  and if I leave out the new "check 6" sounds will the old one still work?

Anything NOT in your Sounds folder will play the default sound.  If you add a custom sound into that folder, you'll hear the custom sound.  If you want the default check6, leave it as a "blank" in your Sounds folder, as in, don't put a custom chk6 sound in your sound folder. Simple as that.:aok

Thanks US Ranger.  I kind of thought that's how it works but wasn't sure and didn't want to screw something up.  I downloaded your pack yesterday.  I especially like the better gun sounds.  Thanks much!

Yes, I also like the plane sounds, with the wind leaking through the canopy, etc. The la la sounds like my old Luscombe!  Keep up the good work.
