I hear a constant clicking sound when I am running AH. It is hard to describe the sound but it sounds like static clicking basically...
I can minimize the game and it goes away, if I switch from headphones to speakers and the game is still up then I hear it. I do not get this sound when running any other game or program through my speakers or headset, so I know it can't be due to my headphones or speakers, it is something with the game or settings?
I have muted all of the sounds in the game and turned the volumes off but it still occurs when I have the game running.
It is really annoying and I've been trying to troubleshoot it some myself. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Golden

I wanted to add that it occurs even when I am on the very first page of AH...so I don't have to be in-game, it starts right when the program is up and running.

Just aguess as I do nothave enough information about your computer, but I have heard sound cards which 'click' when they are sharing an IRQ with another high usage data device, such as a video or network adapter.
The DXDIAG output would provide more details.

Sorry, thats way over my head, could you dumb it down a little bit more?
Thanks for the help!

Another update...
I reinstalled the drivers for the sound-card and it seems to have gone away...:rofl hopefully it stays that way!
