yeh and I wonder why this game lags behind in new additions to the game, other game companys seem to make larger strides in lkess time, is it because this game is under funded?

Maybe because other games have scores of programmers and artists. HTC has....4?

Why don't you just leave the community and find a game that better suits your needs?

And what, pray tell, does Aces High have to do with a video clip of an SU-30? Perhaps, you are in the wrong thread??

Oh yeah man that is a great idea.
I can add to that by saying great strides could be made by going larger. Maybe sell out to someone like EA. That would fix it.........................fo rever.
What you are asking to be changed here is the very reason the most of us are here to begin with. Get a grip.

and back to thread topic here a bit.  I wonder if those kinds of moves would actually be use full in dog fighting.  Typically I would think if you get that slow you're a sitting duck, especially if a missle is tracking you?

Impressive yes, practical in the modern age?

Being more maneuverable is always nice if you get into a furball, but it is hardly a critical part of modern aerial warfare. Command and control is the most important aspect nowadays.

I would have thought flopping about in a virtual stall would be a big no no, as it has always been.  I wonder if they can they even launch while doing those maneuvers?

Saying that, i love SU's, I think they are the best looking aircraft about.

That's the same thinking that took guns off jets in Vietnam....which turned out to be plain stupid.  Being more manueverable equals LIFE, sir, and it always will in fighter combat.

Actually speed is life. Always has been, always will be. The Iraqi MiG-25's clearly proved that this old fighter-pilot's saying is still valid in Gulf War I. Another old saying is "turning doesn't will air battles" or something to that effect.

And perhaps the best example of "speed is life" is the SR-71. ;)

(Note: a typo sneaked its way into my previous post. It should say "turning doesn't win air battles".)
