Title: autohide mouse cursor
Post by: RTHolmes on November 16, 2007, 07:30:19 AM
autohide mouse cursor ... after say 2s of inactivity.
its really distracting having it on screen during a fight and a pain to keep moving it to the side of the screen. or have i missed an option? :)

There's always the Saitek X52 which has a mouse built into the throttle slider, that way you can move the mouse while powering up.

Den, I can never get the mouse to work. Does it have to be through SST?

The X52 has a mouse toggle on the stick.

If this was an addition, I would like it to be an option.  I like to use the cursor as a sight for the Osti.  If it went away, I would be sad :(

same here for the 8" cruiser guns. the AH manual even suggests it for range on tank main guns, so yes it would have to be an option in the prefs.

I cant believe i'm the only one this bugs :confused:

It does annoy me too. I also use my X52 mouse to move it as I throttle up on the runway, you need to enable it in the SST but it does work in AHII or at least it does for me.
I put a small red dot on my screen where the gun sight is, so when I am in an osti, field gun, any aircraft where I'm above the usual gun sight line I can still see the "pipper" so to speak. try it and let me know how it works for you ;

I still use the mouse cursor to mark the range for bad guys spawn in tanks:lol

Move it into a corner and don't touch the mouse again, trust me it will stay there.
