hope you like. this is a 1024x768 wallpaper version, if anyone would like it in a different size, like widescreen for example, just holler :)

i have a pathetic little monitor... :(

i can size it up to 1280x1024 or some widescreen formats for you if you like though...

how's this?

right click and save this to your PC (desktop fine for easy access)

then go to the user CP button at the top of this webpage, go to user options, and down at the bottom of that page is the avatar options. just follow the instructions there...

yes, save the pic you want to replace it with as ahlogo in your aces high II program files folder...

no don't mind at all!

did you crop it as well as enlarge it? otherwise it'll look stretched and nasty.

yeah, they looked dodgy from that angle any way i tried it, so i thought i would only have the back hog shooting at the time of the 'shot'. tracers were too hard to do from head on angles for me, perhaps when i'm more experienced :)

I have not had a photo on my desktop in 15 years. Mainly because there hasn't been one that caught my eye and liked enough to put there.

Your picture resized to 1680 x 1050 unconstrained in Photoshop perfectly and is now set as my desktop.

I cropped a little from the black areas so the image fits with no stretching.

my problem is finding nice backgrounds that size. also, seeing as my monitor only runs at 1024x768, i can't get very big planes out of the game screens.

perhaps when the model is updated, it's just too hexagonal to work with atm, it'd look pretty tacky. maybe i can find an IL2 screenie or something :)
