Title: Train bridges?
Post by: lutrel on November 18, 2007, 10:54:59 AM
Sorry for the noobie question, but can the supply trains be stopped by taking out a bridge?  And if so what is the hardness of the bridge, what ord does it take to take it out?  Thanks.............

The current load of supplies can be stopped by destroying the convoy itself. The bridge is part of the terrain and indestructible.

A tank (tiger) doesnt stop a train if you sit on the tracks

I learned that the hard way...........

LOL ~ A+ for ingenuity Meatwad.

Too bad about the bridges. That's a good idea ~ to be able to destroy the bridges.

I do not believe killing trains has any affect on how slowly anything comes up..

An ex squaddie tried it one time..the tracks were right next to a fuel depot..he sat at the end and killed the train every time it was in his sights..Unless the train has to be killed a certain length away, and he killed many of them,.within a certain amount of time,it was all popping back up..an hour max I believe..TRY it..

Just herd the sheep to the tracks....those things are indestructible.  Can't even squish them in a panzer....pfft.

Falcon,

Killing any resupply object (trains, convoy, barge) has an impact on reup time.  It's 30 mins per full convoy as stated here (http://www.flyaceshigh.com/ahhelp/map.html#gp).

I have killed many many many trains and it will keep the factory down a lot longer if you keep killing the trains.

It'll pop on it's own eventually.  The resupply convoys are there to make it reup faster.  You can e mail HTC and ask if you'd like, I just posted the information that they gave.
