A highway?????
What the hell kind of out of the way timbucktwo town is that that a side road barely wide enough for two vehicles to pass going in opposite directions is considered a "highway"??
He'd have a nervous breakdown here in NJ if he ever got on one of our highways LOL
Then again its unlikely anyone here would get pulled over for riding a lawnmower on that type of road. Hell in the summer I see it all the time where neighbors of friends will drive from one yard, to another a few vlocks away and do each other lawns.

This is one of NJs narrowest highways. Taken about 5 min from my house in Princeton (not exactly a big city kind of town

Its not so much that he had a lawnmower on the road but that he was DRINKING and driving it on the road.
As for the highway part, it probably was a main traffic road for that part of the county/parish he was in. Around here where I live he would have been a menace for all the logging trucks coming and going.

You think that cop was PO'ed, ya shoulda seen the Texas state trooper that pulled me over once while I was smoking a J. When I blew pot breath all over him while he was talking to me and he called me on it, I denied it. He got mad and told me "I can smell it all over your ass!".
I calmly replied "Must be your upper lip".
Let's just say he wasn't amused, LOL :lol

LMAO And how much traffic you think they get on a road that size..mmm 1-2 trucks a week?
around here thats just a step up from a dirt path. barely worth paving
Big trucks wouldnt even be allowed ona road that size in most parts of this state.
the trucks would be considered the hazard
Hell the neighborhood roads in our suburbs are wider then that.
We have driveways wider then that.
Hell the road in front of my house is about that wide.

it just strikes me as hysterically funny that anyone could consider a road that size a "main road"

Theres ALOT more traffic than you may think. This is logging country and if that area was too then yes he could have caused problems.

That sounds as bad as what one of my brothers friends did when I was in High School. This guy was a few years older than me but he got pulled over by the coppers drunk as hell like an idiot.
Anyway he wanted to take a leak but the cop wouldn't let him. He then proceeded to take a leak on the cops leg. Needles to say he was a little black and blue. I belive he fell down drunk a few times. :rofl

I think the police do an idealisically nobel job and one I could never do or even want to.

I can think of VERY few reasons I would need a cop.
Or very few reasons I would ever call the police for anything.
Firemen, yes . EMS yes. Just not cops
Outside of a city. where yes they are indeed needed.
But most townships are overboated with police.
And lets face reality
I'd be willing to bet most cops dont join the force to become the local townships personaly revenue extortion agancy. Which in essense is what they are primarily used for anymore. Not in stopping crime. Not real crime anyway.
And most crimes arent stopped anyway. Only responded to.
and how many of the crimes commited actually end up being solved?
All you have to do is get robbed once to find out that unless you already know who did it. For the most part your SOL.
Its a nobel profession. it really really is.
Its just one that by and large isnt needed nearly as much as they are made out to be

When I was in high school we had a party at a friends house one night when his parents were away.
The next morning the doorbell rang and we all got up off the floor still in a daze to go get it. My friend got there first but no one bothered to hold back his dog (a small to medium sized sheepdog mix).
It was the Jehova witnesses. Otter (the dog) pranced out the door, lifted his leg and peed all over their legs :rofl

I dont think that was staged my bet is the officer saw the guy was drinking when he pased him and was repositioning his vehicle as he was probably going to do some field sobriety tests on the guy and was planning on filming them.
As for the road it is a highway, just not the way most are used to the term being used. Definition- The entire width between the boundry lines of every way publicly maintained, when any part thereof is open to the public for the purpose of vehicular traffic...
Just be be all technical and stuff...
All in all one of the funniest police vids Ive seen.
BTW.... Dudes lucky he didnt get the old hose out and get some of that pepper spray on his member.. he would have been really screaming then :D :rofl :aok
