Title: Not switching to tcp/ip

since i rebooted my comp it hasnt switced to tcp/ip.... is this better or is ther anyway i can change it???

Not switching is a good thing.  means your not losing packets.

thanks skuzzy but my framerate has gone from the high 90's to 65-70...i even changed my vid card setting to match the setting in game...

the lower the frame rate number the better also, sounds like things are looking up for you.

A sudden change in frame rate when you made no other changes at all to your system, including installing or removing software, typically means the CPU suddenly got busier.  

Open the Task Manager and select the "Processes" tab and just watch the CPU usage percentage at the bottom center of the panel.  It should be bouncing from 0 to 1 (occasionally 2) percent.  Anything higher and you have something sucking up CPU cycles from somewhere.
