1 and 2. I would pick a different plane.  The F6F and others are far better JABO planes.  A 1000lb bomb will take out everything but a Tiger with a close hit, and will take out a Tiger with a direct hit.

3 and 4. Come in high, straight down from the top to take an osti gun out. Once you do that, it's no longer effective.   They also can't point their gun straight up very well, so you are safest there.

Strafing a tank is useless unless you have the Hurri D or IL2, and then, it's best straight down from the top into the engine compt.

5. Yes

One more request, Do you see the little button marked "Caps Lock"?  Press it before typing, it makes the text far more readable and in internet speak, all caps equates to yelling..  Very rude honestly.

Flaks (Ostis) are your worst enemy, GV wise. Bombs or rockets are most likely to get them before they get you. If you must engage with ammo, 20 mm Hispanos (Typhoon) will do the trick if you put enough rounds on the Osti. Try to drop in on them when they're firing at another target.

Hispanos will also work on M-16's, Jeeps, M-3's and M-8's.

All my Osti has ever offered is Friendship and Love..........:aok

he he......on a more serious note Flat,  jabbo something that will carry ords worth while, F6F.....F4U....P38, etc.  Everyone is correct by saying come in from high angle..........the higher the better.

I've had 303's take my gun out, given the proper angle.  Come straight in, at a lower angle, to an Osti, with someone that knows how to shoot it..................you die.

Bottom line.......takes practice.

Come in straight and low against anything with a cannon, some patience and alot of curiousity and you'll end up regretting it.

High angle attacks are your best friend.
