I've high-lighted the instrument in question with a red circle. This one is on the lower right in the B25.

This one is on the P47, also high-lighted with a red circle. It's obviously some sort of gun sight. Does it have any use in Aces High?

honestly, I do not think I have yet to take up a B25 since their introduction to the game........
for the P47, that is the gunsite.....if you was to move your head position over and line up infront of it, you would be able to use it just like you use the iluminated gun site... ( anyone notice the Hamilton decal on the prop? detailed )
same for the D3A, the P40, and sorry my mind escapes me right now.but most planes with a gunsite like that or like the D3A Val are usable in the game, I have used them to see how accurate they are.......

The blinker was for oxygen flow... here is a pic of one.

Thank you for the information and the picture. I couldn't quite make out the label in the cockpit but the picture makes it clear.

Yeah, but it should only be visible on the front side of the blade. Same with the yellow tips.

yes, but I maybe wrong here, but the blades still have the mirroring issue bug?
if they don't someone included them on both sides according to the skinviewer.......

My understanding is that the iron gunsight was installed because some pilots didn't trust the "new-fangled" reflective sights and wanted a back up.
As TC said, you can use the "look forward" view to snap to that gunsight. If you don't use or know about the "look forward" view, it's described here>>. (http://trainers.hitechcreations.com/overthenose/overthenose.htm)

The arrows aren't a very precise way of getting the iron gunsight aligned just right. Flying north and lining up into the target (".target" command) should be good enough.
To fly exactly north, you can use this tool to judge your plane's heading: if you fly offline with outside view enabled, and use the outside pan view mode with your mouse, there's a small stop in the rotation when you point exactly north.

They are also quite handy if the bulb in the reflector sight burns out in the heat of the battle so you you have at least something you can use to aim your guns. The German Revis also had small iron sights that could be used if the bulb went out.
