You can try. It won't hurt. Look it up how to do it on Google. It's really easy.

Remember that you can flip the monitor 90 degrees and get a massive amount of view up/down without losing much left/right.

Alt + Return is suppose to be the magic windows button command. But it doesn't work for AH2 it seems.

I've also tried flipping my screen to portrait, but AH2 will not run for some reason. Any ideas ?

I think it might have something to do with my resolution.

I had to open up the video8.cfg file and manually type in the resolution settings.
The file is found here:
C:\Program Files\HTC\Aces High II\settings

Oh school boy error lol.

I thought I needed to download some sort of software to edit the file, turns out I just needed to choose to program from the list /pat on back.

Hope it works, I'll try it out when I land

you might get a message saying you are attempting to open a program or file configured to use something/something /microsoft something

just click  thru and then choose to open with notepad, it does work.....

just worked for me......and is how most all other people do it to manually set their screen res settings

just don't click the box, always use this device/program to open these type files........

edit: to be more thorough....you right click and click "open with"

then you get a caution, that you are trying to open a file that is used or made with the MS outlook configuration something or another, go ahead and click on the open with and choose notepad, just don't  mark the check box to open this file type ( cfg  extension ), or it will change all your cfg icons to notepad icons........

there, hope this helps

TC, I done exactly what you wrote down, I am able to change my game res via notepad, but it will not boot up.

The res I was tried was 1050 x 1680.

Thank you for being so patient with me, I should post more clearly in the future.

no worries, I can't help ya much more, with that non-native game res, the game could be ( more than likely is ) not recognizing it and keeping you from booting up.....

this one is out of my league from here...

sorry it doesnt work for ya......

did you make sure you had the right sizes in the right places

like regular 1280 x 1024 ( if you flip monitor to portriat would be opposite 1024 x 1280 )

or something similar....... maybe you jumped a step or got  off the beaten path somewhere during these experiments.......

anyhows.......good luck with it........

gives a great vertical view.
I found I had to reset most of my head position settings.
