Title: Losing my sound

Hi everyone


Recently my sound has been cutting while playing AH.  I will log on and take off with no problems and as my plane is leaving the runway my sounds cuts off.  I log off and relog back on and still have the same trouble.  It only does this once in a great while.  Is this a bug in the game or is maybe my sound card on the fritz.

We have little control over sounds being played.  As an application all we can do is ask the operating system to play a sound.  If it gets played, peachy, if it does not, we have no idea.  There is no feedback that will tell us if a sound is actually played or not.

Are you using any custom sounds?  Get rid of them first.  If your computer is only using an onboard sound device, most high resolution sounds could cause problems.
