Is it possible to squelch all private communications from the enemy? I don't particularly like it when idiots call you names because you killed them. I would rather not have my radio buffer filled with drivel and I would rather not have to type .squelch .
-
Yes you can squelch said idiot.
First pull up the clipboard.
Second, open the roster page.
Third, look for said idiot's name.
Four, right-click said idiot's name.
Five, highlight squelch and there you have it. The said idiot is now squelched.
Also, to completely ignore all the mindless banter, don't tune to 200.

I don't tune to 200. Thanks for the tip on squelching faster.

What I think he is talking about is someone who tunes to your gamid via the vox channel and runs on about what a after you sent them back to the tower. I have had it happen before.

in text buffer
.squelch gameid
If you know about dot commands ignore this.
If you don't, that period in front tells the game your doing a command.
So to squelch someone, . (period) followed by command (squelch) followed by variable (who)
/ opens text buffer so the exact string would be:
/.squelch hisname
or
/.squelch ghosth etc
Poof, done deal until next time.

in your radio buffer type .squelch gameid
Takes care of the problem person until you log out.
Doh! ghosth beat me by a hair. The .squelch command will handle both text and voice. If you only want to squelch vox then .vsquelch gameid.

i think what he is trying to say here is there a way to squelch all personal messaging at one time not one at a time.
I don't think so but maybe someone here knows something I don't
-
Right, I know how to .squelch a specific person. I was looking for a squelch bomb.
